hi sir!!! i tried the new wallet but im having 0 active connection to the bern network.

The BERN network is very strong. You should find connections. Sometimes it takes time. However, I have moved a fresh peers.dat file to http://berncoin.org/peers.dat which contains 32 active peers. Download and move this file into %APPDATA%/BERNcash/ overwriting the existing. Restart the wallet.

Hope this helps!

I am very proud of how simple "easy pool mining" in the new BERN wallet is.

Step 1. Click 'Mine'
Step 2. Click 'Start Mining'

Step 3. Watch it roll in

This is a low-mid range laptop making ~12 BERN a day. Then that ~12 a day earns 10% APR interest.

I've been collecting the Bern for a while now and the balance at the moment is 394k. I'm not finished yet though.  8)

You deserve credit for a job well done. ;)

I only ever before had purchased cloud mining contracts with bitcoin as I wasn't tech savvy for solo mining or had the capabilities. Now this is much more satisfying as I can see my miner working and I can see the rewards in real time. You've mad this coin a future dominant leader in crypto and I'm glad to be in on it. (Early) WHOOOP!!

problem with windows 10

It can not issue a command to the minerd.exe, it appears the minerd.exe is not in the same directory as the Qt. It is common for antivirus software to remove the minerd.exe. Verify it is in the same directory as the wallet (BERN-Qt.exe).

EDIT: Oh, I see you have.....

You have extracted these files, correct? You are not running it from the archive?

Open a command prompt (CMD) and navigate to the folder containing the wallet. Copy the command (minerd--algo x14 .....)  from the wallet debug info and issue it via the command line. See if that output gives any clues.

Just wondering about the PoS mining, getting a few unaccepted transactions in the wallet. Does that happen usually or is it connection problems or what?
Started getting a few more since last ight.

This is common with all staking coins. This happens when another wallet submits a PoS block at about the same exact time as you. The network accepts the other wallet's PoS block and, subsequently, yours is rejected. You do not actually lose anything, your future reward will compensate to stay 10% annual.

Poor connectivity might make it happen more often yes but, you would still not lose anything at the end of the day.

That's good to know. Just wanted to know what was going on. I like learning this way, you retain the knowledge easier. It won't be long till I'll be working off multiple laptops, hacking government offices and........lol! Only joking :)
